A regular session of the Center of Democratic Elections has been held today.

Azadlyg party chairman Ahmed Oruj told Day.Az that proposals on amendments to Azerbaijan's Election Code were introduced during the session.
"We want the following amendments to be introduced to the Election Code. First, each party, registered in the Ministry of Justice should be represented in the election commissions. Second, protocols and bulletins on elections in the country should be preserved within 15 years. Third, stiff requirements should be established for revealing facts of falsification.
The proposals will be adopted at the round table we plan to hold in the near future", he noted.
Ahmed Oruj also added that the session participants will discuss the recent announcements of the Way of Azerbaijan movement chairman Ilham Gasimov addressed to the Center.
"The movement chairman blames us of the compromise and spread of information about suspension of the activity of the movement. The parties, represented in the Center, consider these accussations groundless", the party chairman said.
