Libyan Foreign Minister to visit Azerbaijan

The due announcement was made by spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibragim.

He said the Libyan Minister noted that Mamedyarov's visit will have a positive influence on bilateral cooperation.

E.Mamedyarov expressed his gratitude for invitation to visit Libya and also invited Libyan Foreign Minister to Azerbaijan.

The Ministers discussed bilateral, international and regional issues.

E.Mamedyarov highly assessed Libya's role, as a member of the UN Security Council, in turn, thanking for country's fair position on the relation to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.

The sides stressed importance of expansion of ties in the spheres of oil, tourism, defense and security.

A dinner party will be arranged today in honor of E.Mamedyarov.
