President of Ukraine Viktor Yushenko is to pay a working visit to Azerbaijan in late March.

The due information was provided by a source from the Ukraine Foreign Ministry, Novosti-Azerbaijan reports.
As is reported, the visit will last for only one day.
The visit aims at participation in an event on the opening of a monument to the great writer of Ukraine Taras Grigoryevich Shevchenko in Baku.
During the visit, the President of Ukraine will be accompanied by a representative delegation to include members of the government and art workers.
A 3.2 meters high bronze monument will be set on the Azadlyq avenue, on a square in front of the Dostlug (Friendship) cinema. The pedestal of the memorial of 0.4 meters in height will be made of granite. The authors of the memorial are Ukrainian sculptors. The work at the memorial is currently under way.
The opening ceremony is expected to be attended by Presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine-Ilham Aliyev and Viktor Yushenko, government members of the two countries, as well as public representatives.
The preparations for the forthcoming visit of Ukraine president to Azerbaijan have started via diplomatic channels.
It should be added that this will be Viktor Yushenko's third visit to Azerbaijan.
