Alekper Mamedov: "Our armed force have a right to conduct any military maneuvers on the territory of Nagorno Karabakh, which was, is and will be an integral part of Azerbaijan"

"I recommend Armenians to study resolutions of a number of international organizations, familiarize with the position of the world community before getting any "sensation" from nowhere.

The whole world recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and no one expect Armenia, recognizes the independence of the so-called "Nagorno Karabakh Republic". This means that Azerbaijan air forces have a right to fly over their own territory. Our armed forces have a right to conduct any military maneuvers on the territory of Nagorno Karabakh, which was, is and will be an integral part of Azerbaijan", Alekper Mamedov, chief of the Azerbaijan Center of Democratic and Civil Control over Armed Forces, told Day.Az comments information, provided by Panorama.am, who announced with reference to a source, close to Armenia's Foreign Ministry, that the flights of Azerbaijani air forces from the Armenian-Azerbaijani side and frontline regions of the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" have intensified.

Asked about the reason of Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry's rebutting the facts of flights of our armed forces over the territory of Nagorno Karabakh, Mamedov announced: "Unfortunately, we have become witnesses of the incorrect position our Defense Ministry occupied on such important moments. Instead of pointing out that Nagorno Karabakh has been recognized as an integral part of Azerbaijan, which means that our armed forces have a right to conduct any tactical trainings on their won territory, our defense ministry starts to rebuts Armenians. This has become an unpleasant tradition. I am afraid that if Armenian Defense Ministry once says that two and two is four, our Defense Ministry will rebut it saying that two and two is five.

In other words, it should be proven by actions that Azerbaijan will never agree to separation of Nagorno Karabagh and that we can do anything we consider necessary in our lands".
