A session of the work group of human rights, composed of representatives of the government and human rights activists is to be held tomorrow.

The due information was provided by Saida Gojamanly, member of the work group and head of the Bureau for Human Rights Protection, APA reports.
She announced that the session participants will discuss results of meetings in Strasbourg, exchange views on the appointment of a special rapporteur of the PACE Monitoring Committee for political prisoners.
"We are aware that the appointment of a special rapporteur will be discussed at the session of the Monitoring Committee on March 17. Azerbaijan has a chance to improve the situation before that day. We will discuss this issue at the session of the work group. We will try to find an answer to the question how to ensure the release of imprisoned reporters and sick prisoners until March 17", she announced.
