Doctors not allowed to see Farhad Aliyev despite deterioration of his health

He noted that despite it, the administration of the investigation ward under the Ministry of National Security, where the ex-minister is still kept, does not allow Farhad Aliyev's personal doctors, as well as the doctors of the Ministry of National Security to see him.

"We can not understand this stubborn unwillingness of the powers to allow doctors to the patient. It makes think that someone wants to terminate Farhad Aliyev's life", another defender of the former Minister Elton Guliyev said.

He noted that such attitude is a violation of all norms and laws, ensuring the rights of the imprisoned to be provided for necessary medical aid. Farhad Aliyev's life has been in danger for several times in jail and his relatives are anxious about him.

Despite the demands of the defenders to allow doctors to the prisoner, the administration of the investigation ward announced that "the working day has finished" and it is necessary to wait until Monday. Such attitude creates concern and nobody can explain, why the patient must wait for two days until he get medical aid, the defender notes.

It should be reminded that Farhad Aliyev was charged with corruption and abuse in 2007, though he was initially arrested for attempt of coup d'etat in 2005.
