Court hearing on imprisoned reporter Ganimat Zahid's case put off

The due information has been provided by sources from the court.

According to the sources, the court hearing has been put off due to the failure of the reporter's defenders to participate in the hearing.

The hearing has been put off to January 29, 10:00 a.m.

It should be reminded that a preventive measure in a form of a two-months arrest has been applied to G.Zahid by decision of the Yasamal district court. The Appelate Court of Baku upheld the decision. G.Zahid is charged under articles 221 (hooliganism) and 127 (deliberate harm to human health) of the Criminal Code.
