President of Azerbaijan leaves for Switzerland

According to the press service for the President, the head of state was seen off by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, chief of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mekhtiyev and Baku mayor Hadjibala Abutalibov.

The head of state will deliver a speech on energy security and Azerbaijan's role as an alternative energy supplier to Europe.

Moreover, the President will take part in a number of debates on energy and technological innovations-nearly 15 bilateral meetings are planned.

Ilham Aliyev will return to Baku on January 15.
