President Ilham Aliyev starts visit to western region of Azerbaijan

In the morning the head of state arrived at the Guzanly village of the frontline Agdam region and familiarized with the museum of the National Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.

The President is expected to participate in the opening ceremony of the Olympic complex in Agdam. The foundation of the Olympic complex in Agdam was laid in spring of 2006. The complex is designed for 500 seats and covers an area of 3 hectares. Its construction has been financed by the Oil Fund. A hotel for 30 people is operating under the complex.

Moreover, Ilham Aliyev will take part in a number of other events and hold meetings with IDP in the framework of his visit to the western region.

President Ilham Aliyev is expected to return to Baku in the evening.
