Vladimir Putin congratulates Ilham Aliyev on New Year

Russia's President Vladimir Putin congratulated the heads of states and governments of a number of foreign countries on the coming New Year.

In his congratulation to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Russia voiced confidence that "the long-term line of comprehensive development of strategic partnership, fruitful and mutually profitable cooperation, strengthening of traditional friendship meets the interests of our people and contributes to boosting regional stability and security".
