"We expect a progress in talks on the settlement of Nagorno-Garabagh conflict", spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibragim said.

He announced commenting on the declaration of the US co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Brayza according to which Armenia and Azerbaijan are expected to achieve at least an oral agreement on basic principles of Nagorno Garabagh conflict settlement until February that Azerbaijan will be glad to share Brayza's optimism if there is any progress in the negotiation process.
"However, everything depends on Armenia's position. Therefore, no breakthrough has been achieved in this process".
According to Kh.Ibragim, Azerbaijan is currently studying the document, presented to the sides by mediators in Madrid.
"The response to these proposals may vary. The form of response has not been defined".
