The year of 2008 will be more peaceful as to the negotiation process, as the pre-election period is not suitable for resolution of serious issues of external policy.

The due opinion was expressed by political scientist and expert Levon Melik-Shakhnazaryan in Yerevan Monday.
He added that no serious changes are expected in the negotiation process on Nagorno Garabagh conflict next year.
According to him, the candidates for the President of Armenia and an elected head of state should pay serious attention to the resolution of the Garabagh conflict, as it is the only issue, which may deteriorate political stability, currently prevailing over Nagorno Garabagh.
"No serious changes are expected in 2008, yet if we continue the current external policy, our state will gradually deteriorate", he considers.
