Several papers drafted on adaptation of AAF to NATO standards

Azerbaijan Defense Ministry press service head, Colonel-Lieutenant Eldar Safarov told APA one of the aerodromes has been completely modernized and modernization of other bases will start soon in accordance with IPAP with assistance of NATO. Entire organizational-technical structure of Air Force is adapted to NATO standards. Works are being done to improve material-technical infrastructure of military aviation.

Eldar Safarov clarified the raids of combat jets over the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

"Jets conduct raids over the international recognized territories of Azerbaijan in accordance with program of daily military maneuvers. Azerbaijani Air Force are controlling the airspace of the country and able to settle all tasks practically."
