Annulling MPs' authorities is not in parliament's competence - Ziyafet Asgerov

Law on political parties should be reconsidered, first vice-speaker of parliament Ziyafet Asgerov said.

He said that several clauses of the law adopted 15 years ago are not effective now.

"Parties' financing by state can be reflected in the law," he said.

While commenting on the case on parliamentarian Huseyn Abdullayev, who got two-year suspended sentence Asgerov said that annulling parliamentarian's authorities is not in parliament's competence, APA reports.
