Ziyafet Asgerov confirms report on prolongation of spring session

First vice-speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafet Asgerov confirmed that the spring session of parliament will be prolonged.

Asgerov said that there is no need to pass a decision concerning it.

"According to the legislation, the parliament's session can be prolonged on 42 parliamentarians' appeals. 42 parliamentarians have already appealed to prolong the spring session," he said.

Asgerov also added that the parliament will debate on affirming judges whose tenure is expiring, APA reports.
