Cuacasian 4 to resume meetings

Four states of the Caucasian region - Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia will resume traditional meetings after a few months pause, chairman of the Russian Federation Council Sergey Mironov told CIS parliamentary assembly held in St. Petersburg on Thursday.

Mironov said the first meeting would be held in Tbilisi, but the date was not set yet.

Mironov said the states of the region should use every possibility which would enable sides to hold dialogue and resumption of C4 meetings was one of such possibilities.

Traditional meetings of the four states of the Caucasian region were suspended last year due to divergence in the positions. The Georgian Times
