President Aliyev receives French senator Ambroise Dupont

The President pointed out Azerbaijan-France relations are developing successfully in all fields mentioning the active role of Senator Dupont and his group in this process. He expressed confidence the current visit would also contribute to enhancement of cooperation between the two countries.

A senator, in his turn, recalled President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to France noting it had opened new horizons of bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador of France in Baku Bernard due Shafoe, who also attended the meeting, presented the Azerbaijani leader with the diploma of the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor awarded to him during his Paris visit by French President Jacques Chirac. AzerTAg
