CEC to move to a new building

After the appeal of the CEC to the government on the construction of a new building, the Cabinet made a decision on giving the former building of Azerbaijan Independent University which is situated near the monument of Ayna Sultanova to the Commission.

The 6-storey building is intended to be wholly given to CEC and "Elections" Information Center is also intended to be transferred to this building. The building is being reconstructed.

Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov controls the reconstruction works, APA reports.

CEC chief Mazahir Panahov told that process of moving to a new building is going on.
