Shusha's occupation turns 15

Armenian forces ended the occupation of Nagorno Karabakh by seizing Shusha on May 8, 1992.

As a result of the occupation of Shusha, Azerbaijan's 289 square km of territory became under the control of Armenians, 200 people became martyrs and 150 became disabled. 249 historical monuments, 2 sanatoriums, memorial houses of well-known people, 70-place tourist base, 27 industrial and construction establishments, 103 cultural and life establishments have been destructed in the historical center of Karabakh.
