No force can force the parties to solve Karabakh conflict, Russian ambassador says

"OSCE MG continues its activity and that is the main thing. Minsk group forms platform for continuing the process of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict," Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vasili Istratov told journalists.

He said that the process of settlement assumes a specific character in connection with parliamentary elections in Armenia.

"The participants of the negotiations say the situation is not hopeless. Everything depends on the will of the parties, though sometimes we are blamed for leading the parties. No force can force the sides to do something as forced peace would not last long," he said, APA reports.
