President Aliyev offers condolences on Boris Yeltsin's death

In connection with the death of first Russian president Boris Yeltsin, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev offered condolences to Russia's President Vladimir Putin and Yeltsin's wife Naina Yeltsina.

The head of state characterized Yeltsin as a great statesman and politician laid the foundation of the epoch of fundamental democratic changes and noted his role in establishment and development of new relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.

President offered condolences to Yeltsin's relatives and the whole Russian people. APA
