National NGO Forum held a rally protesting against Armenian general plan for occupied Azerbaijani town of Shusha.

The head of national NGO Forum Azay Guliyev addressing the meeting said this action by Armenians is aimed at the destruction of Azerbaijan national architectural culture, APA reports.

Azay Guliyev said Armenians is working out general plan of Shusha together with US "SEMA" company and this act of vandalism and barbarism is happening before the eyes of civil world.

"In vindication of their dirty plans Armenians carried out archaeological diggings in Shusha and found "Armenian signs" in Shusha city which was established Panahali the khan of Karabakh khanate. However there is no doubt that Armenians settled in Karabakh in the first half of 19th century and this was proved long before."

They stressed the importance of eliminating illegitimacies and expressing attitudes by world states. At the end of the meeting National NGO Forum’s statement and an application to Director-General of UNESCO, Mr Ko?chiro Matsuura was passed.
