Colliding statements of Musavat and its Ganja branch

18 April 2007 [21:50] - TODAY.AZ
Musavat Party's Ganja organization was removed from its office rent 15 days ago.

Musavat Assembly's member Jahangir Emirkhanli told the APA the owner of the office called at about 00.00 and said the belongings were removed from the building and brought outside Police office.

"We lent that house though it was in despair, repaired it and mover 10 days ago. Last night the owner removed our belongings and said he does not lend the house," he said.

Emirkhanli noted that they are planning to appeal to police for the issue.

Musavat party in its statement notes that the procedure was conducted by police. The statement says that the police unlocked the doors at midnight and took their belongings to the police office. The party related this event with the meeting of the counselor of US Embassy Rebecca Nasly held some days ago in the office.

Deputy Chief of Ganja Police Office Ilgar Balakishiyev told APA's Ganja bureau that this event has nothing to do with police and they have not received any appeal on the case.
