Azerbaijani Ambassador addresses US Congress

The 12th Annual Women Ambassadors Conference is organized by Congressman Eddy Johns and Howard University, APA reports.

Azerbaijani ambassador said that conflicts in different regions of the world cover large territories and a lot of people suffer from these conflicts. He noted that international and transnational companies, governments dealing with arm-selling are interested in the occurrence of conflicts.

The diplomat said that women and children suffer from conflicts most of all calling on the states and NGOs to pay much more attention to the rights of women and children.
