Russia and Azerbaijan are not rivals in energy sector - ambassador

The ambassador said that Azerbaijan and Russia are not rivals in energy sector, on the contrary, they are interested in cooperation.

Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Kahlafov told journalists that Russia and Azerbaijan have opportunity for broad cooperation in international markets and in security system.

"We regard the opportunities of Russia as extra opportunities of Azerbaijan. We are sure that Russia also regards the same concerning Azerbaijan," Khalafov said, APA reports.
