Turkmenistan FM: "Azerbaijani and Turkmenistan presidents should negotiate on Caspian"

Turkmenistan Foreign Ministry calls Azerbaijan to carry on a dialogue for the solution to debatable problems and border problems of the Caspian.

The statement made by Turkmenistan FM says: "Turkmenistan considers necessary negotiations with Azerbaijan at the presidential or ministerial level."

The statement says that there is no ground for argument on the distribution of the Caspian's surface and bottom.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said that there are some problems on determining the Caspian's status, APA reports.
