Argentina recognizes so-called "Armenian genocide"

Argentine's parliament recognized the so-called "Armenian genocide."

The bill was approved with 173 votes and 2 abstentions. So, Argentina became the second country in South America after Uruguay to recognize the so-called "Armenian genocide."

According to the law, April 24 of every year is considered a non-working day for Armenians working in state bodies and studying in the educational institutions of the country, APA reports quoting to Pan ARMENIAN agency.
