President Aliyev receives Bulgarian parliamentary delegation

On November 23, President Aliyev received Bulgarian Parliamentary Delegation led by Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic Georgi Pirinski.

He characterized the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria relationship as developing successfully. Recalling his meetings with his Bulgarian counterpart Georgi Parvanov, President Ilham Aliyev said they had made an important contribution to boosting bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Pointing out the significance of interparliamentary ties, the Azerbaijani leader expressed confidence that this visit will play an important role in further development of Azerbaijan-Bulgaria relations.

Speaker of the Bulgarian National Assembly Georgi Pirinski said his delegation staying in Baku to participate in the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, had a number of bilateral meetings here, too.

He noted the reciprocal visits by the two Presidents, played a particular role in deepening of Azerbaijan-Bulgaria relations.

He expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries will be further enhanced in all fields. AzerTAg
