Protest actions in front of French Embassy in Baku

October 12 the first protest action was held in front of the French Embassy in Baku. However, police dispersed the unsanctioned rally, a few persons were detained.

In the words of a representative of the Azeri Ministry of Internal Affairs, the decision to enhance the security of the French diplomatic mission and its officers is due to the French National Assembly adopting a bill, providing for criminal punishment for denial of the "Armenian Genocide" in Ottoman Turkey, reports Day.Az.
