On the Azerbaijan's foreign policy, Minister Mammadyarov said that integration into the EU, including Euro Atlantic structures was one of the main priorities of the Azerbaijan government. Speaking on Azerbaijan's joining EU, Minister stated that plan of cooperation between with the structure will be adopted in November 2006, according to which, a number of reforms are being implemented in the country.
On Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Minister told of its step-by-step resolution, first of all, withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied Azerbaijani territories, deployment of the peacemaking forces here, mine clearing and return refugees and IDPs to their native lands.
On the other hand, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main oil pipeline (BTC MEP) was put on stream, and the South Caucasian gas pipeline will be put into operation soon, Minister said.
Responding to the British Parliamentarians' questions on the topical international problems, Mammadyarov informed the guests on Azerbaijan's relations with the neighboring states, including China and the littoral Caspian countries. AzerTAg
