Jacques Chirac did not make terms of Turkey's recognition of Armenian genocide for its EU membership

France extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bernard Amaudric du Chaffaut said that Jacques Chirac did not make terms of Turkey's recognition of Armenian genocide for its EU membership in his visit to Yerevan.

He said France is devoted to Copenhagen principles.

"They are protection of human rights, freedom of expression, the rights of national minorities and recognition of all EU members," he said.

Touching upon the opening of Chirac's statement on opening Turkey-Armenian border the ambassador said the France president is for Turkey membership to EU, APA reports.
