New registration for political parties coming

Hasanov told the APA that the registration procedure will not take much time. "The parties have simply to prepare and present the documents meeting the requirements of the new bill. This is the demand of legal norms of the international conventions," he said.

Ali Hasanov also said that he thinks the new bill will prevent the funding of political parties from abroad. "The political institutions should not have obligations before other countries. The funding of political parties in other countries is transparent; it is realized on the account of internal sources," Hasanov said.
