CEC Chairman meets US Ambassador

Chairman of Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov met October 4 with US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mrs. Anne Derse.

Mr. Panahov said the US is Azerbaijan's strategic partner, adding it supports democracy in his country.

The CEC Chairman informed the guest about the preparation work for the municipal elections to be held on October 6.

Mazahir Panahov and Anne Derse discussed other issues of mutual concern. AzerTAg
