Azerbaijan to present report on narcotics to EU

Azerbaijan is drawing up a report on narcological situation and SCAD-4 project results to EU, said Mazahir Afandiyev, South Caucasus Anti-Drug Program coordinator.

He told the APA they could start the implementation of SCAD-5 project in 2007. EU has allocated funds for this project. EU experts will make assessment in Azerbaijan.

"They will assess all that have been done and determine the field to be financed. Azerbaijani drug addicts need treatment. We'll try to implement SCAD-5 in this field," he said.
