Council of Europe election observation mission announced

The COE told the APA's Europe bureau the mission of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities will visit the country from October 4 to 7. The observation group will have talks government representatives, parliament and Central Election Commission members on October 4-5.

The observers will hold a press conference on at COE Secretary General's special representative office in Baku on October 7.

The election observation mission is composed as follows: Ms. Sfirloaga, Brith Faldt (Sweden), Mikael Yuhkami (Estonia), David Lyoyd Williams (England), Ms. Veronika Moreyra (French) and Paolo Rondelli (San Marino), deputy executive director of the Congress Antonella Cagnolati and Ms. Carolina Martin and Ms.Konul Kochak from Congress' Secretariat.
