EU trio mission to visit Azerbaijan

The mission will be led by Finland's Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja, APA reports quoting Finnish Foreign Ministry's website.

The EU trio's mission will be composed of Benita Ferrero-Waldner, European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and external relations, Gunter Glossar, German state secretary for foreign affairs and Peter Semneby, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus.

The EU representatives are due to have talks with state officials in Baku on the European Neighborhood Policy action plan and also conclude several documents to complete the preparation to the action plan.

Finnish Foreign Minister is expected to have talks on bilateral relations with Azerbaijan.
