"Musavat Party's authoritative bodies are formed after the congress. Different statements made by the sides of electoral process within the party cannot be regarded as conflict among the party members. Musavat's Assembly members have rights to stand for or against the candidates to the chairmanship post in the Assembly," Musavat Party leader Isa Gambar told that while commenting on the groups within party making allegations against one another on the eve of the Musavat Assembly's sitting scheduled for 30 September.

Isa Gambar said he does not agree to the expression of conflict between different groups in the party adding that there can be struggle between the candidates, APA reports.

"There are two candidates to the chairmanship of the Assembly. I am not concerned about these processes. Some may turn out to be dissatisfied with the election results. But, the party will carry on regardless of that," he said.

Musavat leader also assessed current activity of opposition parties saying that the political parties are not fully ready for the new elections.

"I think they will be active on the eve of the upcoming elections in autumn and presidential elections in 2008. I do not think the opposition has pursued a wrong tactics. This should be understood that the main problem that democracy in the country faces is authoritarian content of the authorities and its posing obstacles to the democratic processes, falsifying elections. The democratic forces won all of the latest elections in fact. So, the authorities committed fraud. Our tactics is right but wee need active participation of the society and principal position of the international community," he underlined.
