President decrees on raising salaries in enterprises at over 1 200 meters altitude sea level

President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree on raising the salaries of those working at over 1 200 meters altitude for stimulating their activity and strengthening social protection.

Salaries of those working at 1 200-1 500 meters altitude will be raised by 1, 1 times, at 1 500-2 000 meters altitude 1, 2 times, at over 2 000 meters altitude 1, 3 times, APA reports.

The growths to salaries in state enterprises will be paid by state budget and the rest by their own funds.

The ASSR decree #23 on "The privilege for workers in high-altitude regions" issued on June 28, 1990 lost validity by the current decree.
