ANIP to place picket outside Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan

The pro-opposition Azerbaijan National Independence Party (ANIP) will place a picket outside Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan, Nazim Alesgerov, ANIP deputy chief stated.

According to APA, they appealed to Baku Mayor's Office for the picket.

They will demand education in Azerbaijani language in Iran. Alesgerov said if they are not allowed to place picket, they will hold unauthorized one.

20 party members were detained in unauthorized meeting held on September 23. They all were released, three of them were fined at AZN 22.
