Ukrainian president leaves for Azerbaijan

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko went on a two-day official visit to Azerbaijan on Thursday.

He will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to sign a cooperation declaration.

A number of other documents will be signed, as well, including a long-term cooperation agreement between Naftogaz Ukrainy and the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic and a radiation safety accord between the Ukrainian State Nuclear Regulatory Committee and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
