President Aliyev congratulates President of Uzbekistan

President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan congratulated the president of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on the country's national holiday - Independence Day.

The Head of the Azerbaijan State expressed confidence for further development and strengthening of traditional friendly relations, noting they will and henceforth serve the interests of both nations, maintenance of peace, stability and progress in region.

President of Azerbaijan wished his Uzbek counterpart robust health and success, the Uzbek people - peace, solidarity and prosperity.
