31 July 2006 [14:50] - TODAY.AZ
Israeli army agreed stopping of avia attacks to south territories of Lebanon within 48 hours.

The reason of announcing the ceasefire is to create chance to the investigation of the event happened in Qana settlement.

As APA reports, as a result of racket attacks by Israeli air line at least 60 civilians as well as many more tender age children died. Official Tel-Eviv said that 48 hours' time out does not mean stoppage of military operations, but Washington stated hope for wholly stoppage of ceasefire between the sides this week. Israeli army brigade general Amir Eshel said that planes have attacked six targets in the settlement.

The USA State department official representative Adam Ereli approved of decision of Israeli Government.

"The USA approves of this decision and is sure that ceasefire decision will decrease agony and fear of innocent people in the south of Lebanon."
