14 Azerbaijanis to be evacuated from Lebanon soon

"Azerbaijani honored consulate in Lebanon continues to function. The situation in the country is calm now," honored consul Nazih Gassub told.

He said so far 34 Azerbaijanis have been evacuated from Lebanon due to recent bombings.

The consulate plans to send 14 more Azerbaijanis to Russia through Cyprus soon. But our compatriots have passport problems. Therefore, the consulate is going to present a declaration to Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry to solve this issue as soon as possible.

Mr.Gassub also said telecommunications work normally now, APA reports.
