The opening of this center will create opportunities for acquiring broader knowledge of NATO, its programs and global security problems, NATO Assistant Secretary-General Jean Fournet, who is currently on a three-day visit in Azerbaijan, said on Monday.
The center will be open for ordinary people who will get access to any information about NATO's activities, Itar-Tass informs.
NATO's summer school was also opened in Baku. Youth from NATO member-countries undergo training there.
The trainings are aimed at boosting dialogue and cooperation in ensuring security in the North Atlantic Community, the school's organizers said.
