The Ministry public affairs department told APA that Mr.Heydarov had talks at the French Interior Ministry (IM) Civil Defense and Security Department's International Relations Mission.
While visiting the French National Higher School of Firefighting Officers the Azerbaijani Minister was offered the proposal of Azerbaijani specialists’ study at the school. Mr. Heydarov appraised the proposal.
On the second day, the delegation led by Minister Heydarov met with the authorities of the French Interior Ministry's UAZ Department Fire and Fire Safety Service. The delegation had talks with the GIMAEX, SIDES, VPS, Renault Export companies regarding modernization of the Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry's equipment supply.
The Azerbaijani side was invited to the National Congress of French Firefighters scheduled for October this year.
June 14 Minister Heydarov had talks with the authorities of the French IM National Gendarme International Cooperation Office. The sides agreed on further cooperation. The Minister was also received by French deputy Interior Minister Christian Estrozi on that day. Heydarov touched on the conditions that made it inevitable to establish the Emergencies Ministry of Azerbaijan and talked about the duties of the newly established ministry.
Mr.Estrozi said a group of French experts will visit Azerbaijan in July this year adding that he will also visit Baku in the end of this year. A treaty on bilateral cooperation will be signed in the frames of that visit.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Tarig Aliyev also attended the meetings, APA reports.
