Iranian Azerbaijani MPs demand not to prevent marching to Babek castle

Azerbaijani members of the Iranian parliament appealed to the government for not preventing Azerbaijanis' march to the Babek castle.

Editor of newspaper "Yarpag" in Tehran Said Mughanli stated that the use of the castle for military purposes was denounced during the discussions at the parliament.

Azerbaijani parliamentarians said if police forces prevent the traditional marching to the Babek castle, there might be a clash with the people. They say the Iranian government should let the staging of this march accompanied by police control in order to avoid any negative cases, APA reports.
