Elmira Akhundova: "Right defenders taking bribe for preparation of political prisoner list, confirmed"

Pardon Commission member, parliamentarian Elmira Akhundova has told APA about it. She stated that commission and law-enforcement bodies have enough information proving this fact. She added that investigation of this process is not considered necessary yet.

"Because taking money from political prisoners, a group of right defenders having applied to international organizations, will make noise in vain. We have got rid of the problems creating to Azerbaijan in the field of human rights. Therefore we expect it."

The parliamentarian said on the opinion created last days between right defenders on taking bribe "I do not believe demand of neither Arzu Abdullayeva nor Seide Gojamanli bribe from prisoner."

Elmira Akhundovan refused making statement on right defenders' taking bribe who are known to state organs and commissions.
