European Parliament members met Azerbaijani opposition representatives

European Parliament member Hannes Svaboda and deputy chair of parliament socialist group Yan Marunus met with Azerbaijani opposition representatives in Baku.

The meeting brought together co-founder of Davam political alliance Eldar Namazov, PFPA, ADP and ANIM representatives.

As APA informs, the discussions focused on the democratic reforms, Azerbaijan’s stance on Iran-US relations as well as situation on human rights in the country. The opposition members said the situation is not so good in human rights in Azerbaijan. They expressed their dissatisfaction of the November and May parliamentary elections in the country.
