International donors applied to Halo Trust company

The British government reacted ordinarily to the protest lodged by Azerbaijan government and National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) with regard to the British company Halo Trust mineclearance in Nagorno Karabakh.

Director of ANAMA Nazim Ismayilov told journalists. He said that Great Britain and the Netherlands, which are funding the company, stated that they cannot have any impact on this humanitarian organization.

"Halo Trust's reports on mineclearance are not true. This is a very closed organization. It is functioning in Nagorno Garabagh, Abkhazia, Africa, in the territories which cannot be controlled by central government. It gives military trainings to armed group instead of demining," Ismayilov said.

The Agency director also said that international donors have been appealed related to this company's obscure activity and its functioning in Azerbaijan's uncontrolled territories, APA reports.
