Samad Seyidov: "Election Code will not be changed up to repeat parliamentary elections"

Samad Seyidov, head of Azerbaijan's parliamentary delegation to PACE said Azerbaijan takes all proposals from Venice Commission very seriously. "We consider May elections an inseparable part of 6 November elections. For his reason we do not think its is expedient to make any revisions in EC namely on occasion of these elections," Seyidov said, stressing that election policy will be modernized after the elections.

According to Trend, MP said based on the totals of PACE mission's visit and 13 May elections, discussions on parliamentary election in Azerbaijan will take place in PACE in June.
